The Yale y3 standard security nightlatch has been developed to offer customers a stylish contemporary lock combined with the performance and quality expected from Yale. It has a modern design and this lock can be fitted as a replacement for the p77 traditional night latches with no additional chiselling required. The latch can be deadlocked by the snib button internally and the snib function enable the latch to be held back. This night latch is suitable for both left and right handed, inward opening doors and is supplied with the Yale 1109 cylinder and two keys key blank: b-key-1109. The Y3 night latches have a 60 mm back set - this is the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole. Locks with a 40 mm backset are normally used where there is restricted space, such as on a narrow glass panelled door. This Yale Y3CHCH60 has a hardened case and cylinder both finished in polished chrome. It comes supplied with two keys and has a standard security rating.
