Product Description

The Sea Grass sponge (spongia gramminae) is one of the most common species and therefore it is relatively inexpensive. It is not as dense as other sponges, though it is relatively wearing and versatile. It has a soft texture, not as soft as sea wool or the 'soft honeycombs'. As you can see from the photos, there is a great deal of variability between the shape, texture and colour of this type of sponge. Suitable for skin of babies and children and for massage.
