Product Description
The 1" Round Nose Scraper Manufactured from High Speed Steel. These scraper will perform well in both hard and soft woods. They maintain a sharp cutting edge much longer than their carbon steel equivalents requiring less time being re-sharpened They are fitted with full sized contoured walnut handles for user comfort and brass ferrules. Primarily used for the finishing of bowls and boxes, this round nose scraper is capable of making both tissue thin cuts and hollowing out. The thick blade are designed to produce very little chatter, which can often spoil a cut. Instead, these scrapers will leave a very fine, smooth finish even when used to scrape or hollow end grain. These scrapers are available in three different sizes.
