This metallic ironing board cover is ideal for use with either a normal or steam iron. The cover comes complete with a foam underlay so you are good to go straight out of the packet. To get the very best performance from the cover add Brabantia's viscose underlay in addition to the foam underlay for a really superb ironing surface. Due to the metallised surface of the cotton cover the heat of the iron is reflected back through the fabric that you are ironing which makes for a faster and smoother finish every time. It's the ideal way to get the best results. Reflected heat means a better finish. Whilst the cover has been designed to fit Brabantia's size C ironing board range. It will fit just as well on most other makes of board of the same size due to the cord fastening and Brabantia's stretch-system. This means you get a really flat crease-free smooth ironing surface and it also makes the cover easy to fix in place.
