The Wilkinson sword carbon steel border spade is ideal to use in confined spaces, made with a quality carbon steel head and a soft grip wooden ash handle. This border spade is designed for digging and cultivation in borders, between plants or in confined spaces where a digging spade is not suitable. It also offers a lighter alternative to a digging spade due to the smaller sized blade. The carbon steel blade and socket have been heat treated for strength and finished with a powder coating for resistance to rust while the polypropylene shaft offers strength than a traditional wooden version and is finished with a forward tilting soft grip handle for comfortable use at the ideal digging angle.
