Product Description

Vermiculite is a naturally occurring, non-toxic, soft mica mineral. Heated to a high temperature then produces a lightweight sterile, laminated substance we call vermiculite. Ideal for seed sowing and pricking out. Vermiculite absorbs nutrients preventing them from being washed out and then releases them to the plant roots. Insulates against fluctuations in surface temperature when used as a seed covering.
