| Description |
Thompson’s Roof Seal is a high performance elstomeric water-based acrylic coating, which is designed to be extremely easy to use and provides long lasting waterproofing protection to a variety of roofing materials. Even damp roofs can be treated with Thompson’s Roof Seal and brushes and equipment can be cleaned with water after use.
Thompson’s Roof Seal has been proven to out-perform conventional bitumen based coatings which are difficult to apply and tend to degrade, become brittle and eventually break up, resulting in a leaking roof and expensive water damage.
Typically it can be used to repair, protect and waterproof roofing felt, asphalt, slate, tiles, concrete, brick, asbestos, corrugated metal and wood. The elastic waterproof finish produced is extremely resistant to most roof movement and also offers a vapour permeable membrane which allows any trapped moisture to escape.
