Cabotine by Gres was launched in 1990. A floral fragrance the composition is created around the ginger lily, also known as a butterfly lily, a Himalayan large petalled white flower. Cabotine opens with blackcurrant buds, pear, plum and corriander which then flows into a heart of rose, tuberose, ylang-ylang ginger lily. Finished with a subtle base of cedarwood, vanilla, musk and amber. Cabotine when launched was the first fragrance which contained ginger lily. The fragrance was created with love and enthusiasm and became a classic when launched in the nineties. The bottle is simple and elegant created with a stopper in the shape of a flower.
