Luxury Mediterranean 100% Natural Organic Sea Sponges harvested by hand from renewable sources. These are ethically sourced directly from a family producer (imported directly from the Greek islands) and are consequentially great quality and fantastic value These fine sponges are one of the softest, most pliable and absorbent sponges available. Sizes Approx 2" (+/- c.50%) and being natural will vary in shape and will be slightly larger once water is applied. Note these assorted 10 small sponges do have a lot of variability of sizing but generally are between 1" to 3". Individually these sponges are excellent value as these are 'fine' sponges and graded as the most sought after / expensive sponge. Individually these have a RRP £1.00 to £1.50 - great value but we only have limited stock. This small tactile natural sponge is ideal for transferring work in nurseries / pre-schools and also for arts and crafts activities. Excellent for applying and removing face paints. These Sea Sponges are highly absorbent, create a luxurious lather, are softly textured and are suitable for the most sensitive of skin - from babies to sensitive skinned adults. Uses include: Deep cleansing / Application and removal of cosmetics / Massaging to stimulate the circulatory system and revitalize the skin Sea sponges last longer than synthetic sponges because they are more resistant to abrasion. Additionally, natural sea sponges are better for bathing and cleaning because they soak up and hold more water without dripping. Natural sponges are self-cleaning through their intricate system of canals. They therefore wash out more quickly and easily and are resistant to odours. They are softer, clean better and will not peel like synthetic sponges while being used.
